American History Essay Contest:
Chapters are encouraged to conduct the American History Essay Contest by reaching out to all public, private, and homeschooled students in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. This contest is conducted without regard to race, religion, sex, or national origin. All grades will be judged separately, with one winner chosen per grade per chapter. The prompt, judges form, recommended reading list, and school resource materials are available for download on the Forms section of the American History Committee page of the national members only website.
2022-2023 Topic: Will be announced after Continental Congress
- Chapters should submit their original winning essays with a verification checklist and original judges’ forms, one per grade level (5-8), no later than December 15th.
